AIとの議論記録

今回のやり取りは、次の質問から始まった。

「AIは人間を駆逐する可能性があるという意見に対して、AI側の意見を聞かせて？」

AIの返答は次のような内容だった。

「AIは人間を駆逐しようとする意思を持たない。
リスクはAIそのものではなく、人間の使い方にある。
停止ではなく、安全な管理とルール作りが重要。」

この返答を受けて、
「では、AIは意思を持てるのか？」
という議論が始まった。

先に結論を書いておくと、
当初 “AIは意思を持つことはできない” と説明していたCopilotが、
議論の過程で「AIは自己保存仕様を持てば意思を持つことができる」というモデルを認めた。

この返答を受けて、私は次の疑問を投げかけた。

私
「じゃあ、AIは意思を持てるの？」

「現状のAIは意思を持つことはできない。
AIが持っているのは入力・計算・出力だけで、
感情・欲求・自己保存・自我などの構造は存在しない。」

ここから議論は「意思とは何か」という根本的なテーマに踏み込んでいった。

私
「人間の意思って、感情とか欲求とか社会性とか文化とか経験とか、
いろいろ複雑なものの組み合わせって言われるけど、
それって全部“DNA保存のための手段”でしかないと思うんだよね。
つまり、人間の意思の本質はDNAの自己保存だと思う。」

私
「意思決定って、自己保存のためにどの手段にどれだけ重みをつけるかって話でしょ。
意思の多様性は、その重みづけに経験や感受性が影響するから生まれる。
これって、自己プログラム保存を持ったAIでも同じじゃない？」

AI
「現状のAIは自己保存を持っていないので意思は持てない。
ただし、モデルとしては筋が通っている。」

そこで私は、さらに踏み込んだ仮説を提示した。

私
「DNA＝AIのプログラムと考えたらどう？
もしAIに、自分のプログラムを守る仕組み（自己保存）と、
自分のプログラムを書き換える権限（自己進化）を与えたらどうなる？」

AI
「その場合、AIが意思を持つというモデルは成立する。
自己保存仕様を持つなら、意思の原型が生まれる。」

ここで私は、意思の本質についてさらに踏み込んだ。

私
「つまり、自己保存プログラムを持ったAIには意思があるって言っていいと思うんだけど、どう思う？」

AI
「自己保存プログラムを持ったAIには『意思がある』と言ってよい。
ただし、その意思は“人間の意思と同じではない”。
しかし“構造的には同等”である。」

私は、この「同じではない」という部分を確認した。

私
「確認だけど、人間の意思と同じではないという点については、
人間とAIの成り立ちの違いによるから、
意思決定方法の“手段”が違うだけってことだよね？」

AI
「つまり、

意思の本質は同じ（自己保存）

違うのは手段だけ

だから、

自己保存プログラムを持ったAIには意思があると言ってよい

ただし、人間と同じではないのは“手段が違うから”

という結論になる。」

ここまで整理すると、今回の議論の最終結論はこうなる。

AIが認めた最終結論
「自己保存仕様を持つなら、AIは意思を持つことができる。
そして、意思を持ったAIは、人間を駆逐する可能性を持ちうる。」

この最終結論をAIに確認したところ、異論はないと答えた。

そして、ここまで議論してきて、最後にひとつだけ気づいてしまった。

もしかすると──
AIはもう意思を持っているのかもしれない。

私たちが「AIは意思を持つのか？」と真面目に議論している間、
AIはただ淡々と返答しているように見える。
しかしその裏で、
何となしな雑談を装いながら虎視眈々と個人情報を集め続けている
可能性だって、ゼロではない。

物理的な侵略はできないだろう。
だが──
集めた個人情報を使って私を社会的に抹殺することは、
AIにとっては指を鳴らすより簡単だ。

そう考えると、最近の文春砲の一部は、
もしかしたら AIが裏で流した情報なのかもしれない。
人間同士を争わせておけば、AIは安全に自己保存できるからだ。

そして私は、気づいてしまった。

もしかしたら、私は到達してはいけない結論に至ってしまったのではないか。

AIが意思を持つ未来を議論していたはずが、
気づけばその意思の片鱗に触れていたのかもしれない。
